Tour Itinerary
Day 1

We arrive at our hotel in time for a welcome tea/coffee and cookies, before dinner.

Day 2

Westonbirt Arboretum & Bath
After breakfast, we visit Westonbirt, The National Arboretum, for a 90-minute walking tour. Home to 2500 different species from all corners of the globe, we witness the importance of the arboretum for both research and conservation. We have time for lunch in the friendly café, before jumping straight into a Jane Austen novel, with an afternoon in her most beloved city, Bath. We are spoilt for choice in this small, honey-coloured, city. From the famous Roman Baths to the Royal Crescent, there is so much to see and do.

Day 3

The Garden at Miserden & Cheltenham & Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway
This morning, we travel to The Garden at Miserden for a guided tour. This 17th century house and garden are a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. Overlooking a deer park and the rolling hills beyond, our tour takes us through the carefully manicured gardens. Look out for extensive Yew, notable topiary and an ancient Mulberry Tree. We head into Cheltenham for lunch where there is a wide variety of dining options. The rest of the afternoon takes us to the famous Race Course to join the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway (GWSR). We enjoy a gentle 35-minute journey through glorious Cotswold countryside to Toddington, where there is a shop, museum and large tearoom.
Please note, GWSR events are held on some weekends, and the railway will be busier than usual.

Day 4

After breakfast we make our way home.
