Tour Itinerary
Day 1

We make our way to our hotel with time to explore the hotel facilities before dinner.

Day 2

Chatsworth House & Bakewell
Today we travel to Chatsworth House in the heart of the Peak District. There are many rooms to explore, including the magnificent Painted Hall, State Rooms, Sketch Galleries and beautiful Sculpture Gallery as well as a diverse art collection to admire, in addition to the famous gardens. Then we call in at the Chatsworth Farm Shop, in the nearby village of Pilsley. On our way back we stop off in the traditional market town of Bakewell, famous for its Bakewell puddings.

Day 3

Haddon Hall, Castleton & Ladybower Reservoir
We travel through stunning countryside to Haddon Hall, set in the heart of the beautiful Peak District National Park. Recognised as one of the most romantic houses in Britain, the house and grounds have played host to a number of films including Jane Eyre, Elizabeth, Pride & Prejudice and The Other Boleyn Girl. We have free time for lunch here before visiting the charming village of Castleton, known as the "Gem of the Peaks", after which we continue our scenic drive enjoying the wonderful view of the Ladybower Reservoir, which, along with the Derwent and Howden reservoirs, was made famous during World War II when it was used by the Dambusters RAF squadron to practice low level flying techniques.

Day 4

Today we enjoy a scenic tour of Last of the Summer Wine Country as we head for Holmfirth. A quirky market town which is home to the comedy classic and longest running TV comedy programme to have appeared on British television. Explore the sites of Nora Batty's steps, Sid's café, Compo's former home, the Last of the Summer Wine exhibition and the Wrinkled Stocking Tea Room. We take a guided look around before Afternoon Tea and returning to the hotel via the Peaks one last time.

Day 5

We enjoy our last fully cooked breakfast at the hotel and make our way back home.
