Explore the stunning gardens before we travel to nearby Beaumaris with its medieval castle, lovely beach and Victorian pier. In the afternoon we relax with a 90-minute boat cruise to Puffin Island.

Day 3

Caernarfon Castle & Trefriw Woollen Mills
This morning we explore our base of Caernarfon, home to UNESCO World Heritage Site and Caernarfon Castle, before a scenic drive to Betws-y-Coed, North Wales' most popular inland resort. Enjoy time at leisure before visiting the nearby Trefriw Woollen Mills where traditional woollen products are made using 50-year-old machines, powered by a vintage water turbine. We continue our journey through the Snowdonia National Park and return to Caernarfon via the village of Llanberis.

Day 4

Welsh Highland Railway & Portmeirion,
Ride on the Welsh Highland Railway, the UK's longest heritage railway which runs for 25-miles from Caernarfon, past the foot of Snowdon and the picture postcard village of Beddgelert, through the stunning Aberglaslyn Pass and on to Porthmadog. We re-join our coach and travel to the nearby unique village of Portmeirion, exploring the lovely gardens, picturesque village and shops.
