This morning we visit Picton Castle and Woodland Garden which is regarded as Pembrokeshire's finest stately home and gardens, situated close to the estuary of the Cleddau River. There are 40 acres of some of the most beautiful gardens and grounds in West Wales. We spend the rest of the day relaxing in the pretty picture postcard town of Tenby. Explore its quaint streets and stroll around the picturesque harbour or just relax on the golden sands of this beautiful resort.
Gower Heritage Centre
We start the day in the picture postcard resort of Mumbles, on Swansea Bay. In the afternoon we travel to the Gower Heritage Centre where we meet our qualified guide for a step-on guided tour of beautiful Gower. After our scenic tour, we return to the Gower Heritage Centre. See how the 12th century water powered corn and saw mill were renovated and how experienced crafts people took up residence on site. Today the centre is recognised as a vibrant crafts and rural life museum that welcomes visitors from all around the world. We stop in at the Mill Tearooms at the centre for a traditional Welsh Cream Tea.
This morning, we visit charming St David's, the smallest city in Britain. Spend time strolling around the lanes and browsing the little shops before visiting St David's Cathedral. From St. David's we head around the Preseli Mountains back to hotel.
After breakfast we leave and begin our homeward journey.
