Today we pay a visit to the extraordinary and unique Longleat estate, the first stately home to fully open its doors to the public back in 1949. We drive through the Safari Park allowing you to get closer to the lions, tigers, giraffes - to name but a few of the animals, we even venture into the Monkey enclosure to see what they make of the coach.
You are free to explore at your leisure, your ticket includes the main square home to Red Pandas, Meerkats, Reptiles, The Giant Otters, Crocodiles exhibit and Koala Creek featuring southern Koalas and southern hairy-nosed wombats.
The Jungle cruise will get you up close to Gorilla Colony, Hippos, and the noisy Californian sea lions that like to follow alongside in the hopes of fish. Explore Longleat House's sweeping corridors and grand rooms transporting you back in time with its example of high Elizabethan architecture and the Capability Brown landscaped grounds and maze. (NOTE Longleat House not open 3/7/21)
