Tour Itinerary
Day 1

We depart from our home area and arrive at our hotel in time for welcome tea/coffee and dinner.

Day 2

Clovelly & Hartland Abbey & Gardens
We spend this morning in the charming, privately owned village of Clovelly, where we have time at leisure to explore. After a short history of the village, we stroll down the traffic-free steep cobbled street to the tiny ancient fishing harbour. Visit the Charles Kingsley and Fisherman's Cottage museums along the way, and take in the glorious views, flower-strewn cottages and Clovelly's famous donkeys as we go! We return to the top of the village to browse the gift shops and craft centre. Alternatively, relax in the Clovelly Court Gardens. We have time for lunch (not included) in one of the cosy bars or cafés before we make our way to stunning Hartland Abbey & Gardens, a popular filming location - Enid Blyton's Malory Towers was recently filmed here by the BBC.
Please note, guests need to be able to walk into Clovelly and up and down the hill, however, Land Rover transfers are also available for a supplement.

Day 3

Lynton & Lynmouth & Illfracombe
This morning, we spend time at leisure in the twin villages of Lynton and Lynmouth, where we can take the cliff railway from one to the other! The unique Victorian water-powered funicular cliff lift (disabled access is limited) will transport us 500ft up and down to the villages, where we can explore their little independent shops selling local produce, gifts, arts and crafts. In the afternoon, we head to Illfracombe, where we have time to relax on the seafront, and explore the colourful cottages and picturesque natural harbour, surrounded by cliffs.

Day 4

RHS Rosemoor & Bideford
This morning, we make our way to enchanting RHS Garden Rosemoor. Nestled in the Torridge Valley, the fragrant rose gardens, brightly-coloured Hot Garden, and stunning Exotic Garden will delight you. In the afternoon, we spend time at leisure in the traffic-free lanes of historic Bideford. Explore the quirky shops, the riverside quay and the historic indoor Pannier market (involves an uphill walk).

Day 5

After breakfast we begin our homeward journey.
