Tour Itinerary
Day 1

We make our way to our crossing and onto our overnight hotel.

Day 2

We arrive at the Grand Liberty Hotel in Riva for a welcome cocktail.

Day 3

Riva del Garda
Today is at leisure, so take advantage of the wonderful bustling resort of Riva del Garda nestled between the lake and dramatic mountains. Take time to browse the many shops, explore the smaller streets and take a coffee and of course a gelato in the central square overlooking the town's beautiful harbour. Alternatively, take a relaxing return boat trip to the pretty fishing village of Limone sul Garda named after its traditional lemon terraces, and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way.

Day 4

Malcesine & Lazise
This morning we visit the ancient town of Malcesine. Its maze of cobbled streets sits on the edge of the blue waters of the lake, in the shadow of breath-taking Monte Baldo, the largest mountain in the Lake Garda region. A cable car can be taken to the summit for spectacular views across the lake and the Dolomites (not included). The delightful old port is lined with cafés, restaurants, boutique stores and gelato eateries. In the afternoon we travel via the scenic lakeside road to the pretty walled town of Lazise, with its paved lakefront promenade and fine sandy beach. Lazise also has a wonderful old town centre, with narrow alleyways, picturesque squares and harbour. The 12th century Church of San Nicolò is known for its frescoes, while Scaliger Castle can be admired from the outside, though cannot be visited as it is privately owned. We make our return journey back to Riva.

Day 5

Dolomites & Lake Molveno
Today we travel north to the dramatic Dolomites and enjoy a scenic tour of this outstanding area. We will travel over the pass at Madonna di Campiglio where we can marvel at the spectacular views of the Brenta peaks before visiting charming and pretty Lake Molveno. (Please note: this excursion may be subject to weather conditions.

Day 6

Our full day highlight excursion takes us to the world-famous city of Verona, the romantic capital of Europe and one of Italy's oldest cities. Situated on the banks of the River Adige and perhaps best-known for its association with Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, it boasts a rich array of art and architecture. Its heart is dominated by a mammoth, remarkably well-preserved 1st century Roman amphitheatre, the venue for the city's annual summer opera festival. The Piazza Bra is the largest piazza in Verona, lined with numerous cafés and restaurants for a relaxing pitstop. Verona is a shoppers' paradise, too, with something for everyone - from the daily market in Piazza delle Erbe, where there are plenty of bargains to snap up and a great selection of local produce, to the stylish designer shops at Via Mazzini.

Day 7

Today we travel back to the overnight hotel.

Day 8

We cross the Channel and make our way back home.
