Tour Itinerary
Day 1

We depart the local area and make our way to the overnight hotel.

Day 2

A very early start as we head to Penzance for the morning sailing to St Mary's. The hotel is a five-minute walk from St Mary's Harbour and luggage will be transferred by a local operator.

Day 3 - 5

During your time on St Mary's, enjoy an introductory guide to the island with a local coach operator. Get an insight into life on the largest island in the archipelago. During your free time, you may like to spend a day exploring Hugh Town, the Island's capital. Situated between two beaches, it is home to a variety of shops, arts and craft galleries and restaurants. Why not enjoy a stroll along the Garrison Walls high above the town or simply relax on the beach? Alternatively, you could take a boat trip to the Island of Tresco to visit Abbey Garden, home to over 20,000 exotic species of plants, a variety of which cannot be grown anywhere else in Britain.

Day 6

Enjoy lunch before you join the afternoon crossing and return to the mainland. We then transfer you to the overnight hotel.

Day 7

We continue our journey home, back to the local area.

Other Information

2* Bell Rock Hotel, St Mary’s

The most southerly hotel in England, the Bell Rock Hotel is located just a short walk from Porthcressa beach and the harbour. En-suite bedrooms have a TV, radio, hairdryer and tea/coffee facilities. The hotel offers a heated indoor pool, bar, lounge and dining room.

This is a historical building built over 100 years ago with eight steps leading into the entrance of the hotel. Due to its age, guests will encounter steps throughout including the ground floor, with a limited number of easier to access rooms, which will still involve some steps. There are no adapted rooms and owing to the layout and subsequent steps, the hotel is not wheelchair friendly.  The Bell Rock does not have a lift.

• Bar • Lounge • Indoor swimming pool • TV • Hairdryer • Tea/coffee in room • The hotel does not have a lift •

The Isles of Scilly are outstandingly beautiful and unspoilt. Consequently, you will find that the destination does not offer the same facilities as on the mainland and guests will need a level of mobility to access the ferry and enjoy the islands. Guests will encounter gradients and rough terrain.
