The elegant and historic Metropole Hotel is located in the centre of the Victorian town of Llandrindod Wells and was originally the largest hotel in Wales. Still privately owned by the great, great grandson of the original Victorian owner, the Metropole is still the highest AA rated hotel in Mid Wales.

We make our way to the hotel were welcome tea/coffee & mince pies will be waiting for us. After time to settle in to our rooms we make our way to dinner which is followed by evening entertainment of choir singing
We make our way to Abbey-Cwm-Hir, one of Wales' finest examples of Victorian Gothic revival architecture. Paul and Victoria Humpherston bought the Hall in late 1997 and spent nine years restoring it to its original Gothic splendour, and it is now renowned for its stunning interiors and fascinating collections. In the festive period the house offers "the most unique Christmas spectacle in the UK" with all 52 rooms of the hall decorated with stunning individual yuletide themes. We take a tour of the House & Estate by Paul, Victoria or a close family member.
