Tour Itinerary
Day 1

Cogges Manor Farm
We head to Cogges Manor Farm in Witney which has beautiful natural grounds and filming locations are very close together, allowing you to make the most of your visit. There is a film in the manor house which charts the transformation of Cogges into Downton Abbey's Yew Tree Farm. You can also view a collection of stills and behind the scenes photos from the show as well as some interesting Downton memorabilia, including Marigold's birth certificate! A guide will give a detailed tour about filming at Cogges and the history of the farmstead for those families who lived and worked here.

Day 2

Highclere Castle
Today we head to iconic Highclere Castle, otherwise known as Downton Abbey to millions. Walk in footsteps of Robert, Cora and the rest of the Crawley family, exploring 'behind the scenes'. Spend the day exploring the castle and exhibition and enjoy the beautiful gardens and stunning setting of this most famous of houses.

Day 3

Blue Badge Guided Tour of Bampton
Visit the village of Bampton along with a Blue Badge Guide. Bampton was used for filming the village scenes with many key events filmed in and around the church. The old Grammar School Building houses Bampton Community Archive, with its impressive collection of old photographs of Bampton and its people. Afterwards we head home.
