Tour Itinerary
Day 1

After our collection from home, we meet the coach and head west to our hotel in Exmouth.

Day 2

Ugbrooke House & Gardens
Today we visit elegant Ugbrooke House, set within the glorious Devon countryside. A private home featuring in the Domesday Book, we delve into the history of the house with a guided tour followed by a cream tea, before exploring the beautiful gardens.

Day 3

Guided Tour of Exeter Cathedral
We enjoy this morning at leisure in Exeter, a city rich in history, with a magnificent cathedral, imposing Roman wall, beautiful quayside and award-winning Royal Albert Memorial Museum. At lunchtime we make our way to the cathedral, one of the oldest and most beautiful in England. We enjoy a light lunch in the 13th century Chapter House followed by a floor tour of the Cathedral, when we learn about its history and the stories of the people who have lived and worshipped there.

Day 4

Bicton Park Botanical Gardens
We spend time today at Devon's most magnificent historic gardens, Grade 1 listed Bicton Park Botanical Gardens. Spanning nearly 300 years of horticultural history, we enjoy a guided tour of the colourful gardens set in Devon's picturesque Otter Valley. As well as beautiful gardens containing many rare plants, the parkland also features historic glasshouses, a countryside museum, mini golf, restaurant, shop and a woodland railway, on which we enjoy a journey through the parkland.

Day 5

We enjoy one last breakfast at the hotel this morning before we depart and head for home.
