Tour Itinerary
Day 1

We depart in the morning to make our way to the hotel were Tea/coffee will be served on our arrival.

Day 2

Windermere Lake Cruises
We start our day with a steamer cruise from Ambleside Pier to Bowness Pier on beautiful Lake Windermere. Taking in the finest views from England's longest lake, we cruise serenely to Bowness, where we enjoy time at leisure to enjoy lunch and a stroll around this bustling Lakes town. After lunch, we head for Bowness Pier again, from where we enjoy another steamer cruise to Lakeside Pier. Once here, we climb aboard a Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway steam train at Lakeside Station, from where we journey to Haverthwaite station.

Day 3

Today, we leave the Lake District behind and travel to Aberdeen, taking in the lovely scenery as we go.

Day 4

Balmoral Estate
We spend today at stunning Balmoral, the Scottish home of the Royal Family. We spend time at leisure exploring and learning all about the castle's fascinating history, famous residents and visitors. We visit the largest room in the castle, the Ballroom, as well as the exhibitions, grounds and gardens. Covering three acres, the beautiful formal gardens feature a large kitchen garden, a range of Victorian glasshouses full of flowering pot plants and a water garden. Please note, admittance to Balmoral is subject to members of the Royal Family not being in residence.

Day 5

Tour of Speyside Cooperage & Glenfiddich Distillery
This morning, we visit the fascinating Speyside Cooperage where we enjoy a guided tour taking in the sight, sounds and smells of a working cooperage and visiting the viewing gallery where we can watch first-hand coopers at work. In the afternoon, we visit historic Glenfiddich Distillery where we enjoy a tour with a tasting of 3 world-renowned single malts. Home to the world's most awarded whiskies, our tour explores every chapter of the Glenfiddich story, and we will view the whisky barrels in a new light following our cooperage visit from this morning!

Day 6

It's time to journey home, we depart after breakfast and make our way back.
