Tour Itinerary
Day 1

After being picked up from home we start our journey north, stopping at our overnight hotel in Preston.

Day 2

We continue our journey to arrive at the Doubletree by Hilton Glasgow Westerwood Hotel, where tea/coffee and mince pies are served on our arrival.

Day 3

Christmas Eve - Glasgow
Today we spend the day in Glasgow, home to some of Scotland's finest cultural attractions and, best of all, most of them are completely free. We'll have plenty of time to explore and to enjoy all the shopping, dining and attractions this vibrant city has to offer. Maybe you'll sightsee the best of Glasgow's architecture or taste your way around the city. We return to the hotel in plenty of time for dinner. Why not then make your way to the local church for midnight mass? We'll have mulled wine and mince pies ready back at the hotel for your return.

Day 4

Christmas Day
Merry Christmas! Open your presents in the comfort of your room before joining us for breakfast. You'll then have free time to enjoy the hotel's leisure facilities, or to take a stroll around the grounds, before a 3-course traditional Christmas lunch is served with all the trimmings. In the afternoon there's a visit from Father Christmas, tea/coffee and Christmas cake, followed later by a buffet dinner.

Day 5

Boxing Day - Edinburgh
We head to the centre of Edinburgh to spend the day at leisure, shopping in Princes Street and sightseeing. View the magnificent Edinburgh Castle, perched atop an extinct volcano; the Palace of Holyroodhouse, a favourite residence of the monarchy; the Scottish National Gallery; the National Museum of Scotland; or, for those who prefer a Boxing Day walk, there's Holyrood Park and Arthur's Seat, an ancient volcano that sits 251m above sea level, giving excellent views of the city.
Please note: Being Boxing Day, some attractions may not be open.

Day 6

We depart our hotel and return to Preston to our overnight hotel.

Day 7

We continue our journey south and back home.
