We depart the local area and make our way to Great Yarmouth, arriving during the afternoon where we enjoy a welcome tea/coffee.
This morning we head west into Norwich where a visit to the Cathedral is a must, along with the most famous street in Norwich, Elm Hill, and the Castle Mall shopping complex. There is time here for lunch and to explore before returning to the hotel via the charming Norfolk Broads and Wroxham Barns, a collection of beautifully converted barns where there are interesting crafts, tempting shops and a welcoming restaurant/café.
A Day at Leisure in Great Yarmouth
A free day to explore and discover the delights of Great Yarmouth. You may like to visit the Pleasure Beach, Merrivale Model Village, Sea Life Centre, Time and Tide Museum or take a ride on the road train along the Great Yarmouth's seafront, the Golden Mile.
Southwold, Oulton Broad & Lowestoft
Today's excursion takes us first down the coast and into Suffolk to the timeless and delightful resort of Southwold where little has changed here since Victorian times. Later we head north to Oulton Broad and Lowestoft, the most easterly point in England before returning to the hotel.
We depart after breakfast and make our way back to the local area.
