Day 1

We arrive at our overnight hotel in time for dinner.

Day 2

We head to our afternoon crossing and arrive at the hotel to a welcome tea/coffee & shortbread.

Day 3

Belfast Harbour Cruise, HMS Caroline & Titanic Belfast
Today, we make our way to Belfast Harbour where tea/coffee & scones await along with a guided boat tour of Titanic Harbour. After setting sail in the morning, we continue the maritime theme in the afternoon with some time in Belfast's famed Titanic Quarter. We step on board HMS Caroline, a First World War era warship and now a floating museum, for lessons in maritime history and an insight into life at sea. We then visit the world-famous Titanic Belfast, which tells the Titanic story though nine interactive galleries - we roam the shipyard and journey to the depths of the ocean while we immerse ourselves in all things Titanic.

Day 4

Ulster Folk and Transport Museum, Belfast & Crumlin Road Gaol
This morning, we make our way to the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum. As we wander through the pretty parkland of Ulster Folk Museum, we step back in time to experience life in Ulster more than a century ago, encountering costumed locals demonstrating traditional crafts along the way. At the Ulster Transport Museum, we browse one of the most comprehensive transport collections in Europe, including locomotives, horse-drawn carriages, vintage motorbikes and cars. We then embark on a step-on guided coach tour of Belfast, exploring the city's most historic and significant points of interest, finishing at Crumlin Road Gaol, otherwise known as HMP Belfast, we conclude our day with a tour of the former prison.

Day 5

Antrim Coast, Larne to Carrickfergus train & Whitehead Railway Museum
Our day begins with a scenic journey along the stunning Antrim Coast to understand why this stretch is considered one of the greatest drives in the world. We then continue on our coastal roams with a train journey from Larne to Carrickfergus. Having piqued our interest in train travel, we round off our transport themed tour with a visit to Whitehead Railway Museum, where we soak in the history of the steam train industry in Ireland, nose around steam locomotives and hop aboard the footplate of an 1879-built steam engine.

Day 6

We make our way back to the crossing and to our overnight hotel

Day 7

After breakfast, we make our way home.
