Hardwick Hall & Renishaw Hall & Gardens
We begin our morning at the Elizabethan country house of Hardwick Hall which, since its creation in the 1500s by 'Bess of Hardwick', has been contributed to by descendents, craftsmen, farmers, gardeners and more. We discover the stories of Hardwick and enjoy the beautiful landscape it is set within. In the afternoon, we make our way to the Grade 1 listed building of Renishaw Hall & Gardens. Here, we enjoy a guided tour of the magnificent building, which has been home to the Sitwell family for over 350 years, and entry to the on-site museum.
