GENERAL FAQS: DAY-TRIPS

Pick-up routes and feeder services

To reduce the pick-up times to a minimum, pick-up points in the Portsmouth, Southsea, Gosport, Stubbington & Lee-on-the-Solent areas may be operated by a feeder coach, minibus or taxi service which will take passengers to meet the main coach. Pick-up times are subject to change and any affected passengers will be notified approximately 5 days prior to departure.

Can I book specific seats online?

When booking online, seats will be allocated automatically, but can be changed by clicking the allocated seat to select it and then clicking your chosen seat, providing they are not already occupied. Seats are not able to be chosen during our feeder service.

Will I receive my theatre or admission ticket in advance?

Theatre and admission tickets will be issued by the Driver or Escort on the day of travel.

Are entrance tickets included in the price?

Entrance fees are included except where stated. If you have your own tickets for an event or wish to visit friends or family somewhere don’t forget that ‘Fare Only’ prices are often available. Please contact us if a coach only fare is not stated. National Trust (NT), English Heritage (EH) and RHS members should also check for a discounted fare on any tours including visits to properties belonging to these groups but don’t forget that you will need to have your membership card with you when you travel!

Can I park my car at your offices?

Unfortunately we don’t have parking available for passengers on our day trips or holidays. We do offer pick up points that are located near to car parks. Please contact us and our team may be able to advise you.

Tour Escorts

Much of the success of our trips is attributed to the helpfulness and courteousness of our friendly Drivers and Tour Escorts. Please note our Escorts are not professional tour guides but are committed to ensuring you enjoy your day out. They are there to assist passengers whenever needed and to ensure your comfort and safety throughout the trip.

Can I bring a wheelchair, mobility scooter or walker?

Those with mobility difficulties are very welcome on our day trips, however it’s important that you let us know at the time of booking if you’d like to bring a wheelchair, scooter, or walker. Smoking & e-cigarettes

All of our coaches are non-smoking, this includes all vaping devices and e-cigarettes. However we often stop en-route for your comfort.

Will I need to wear a face covering on board the coach?

The government recently announced that England will return to Plan A on Thursday 27th January 2022 thanks to the success of the booster programme.

This removes the legal requirement for face coverings in any location (including on-board) and greatly reduces the restrictions in buildings.

It will therefore be a personal choice for customers to wear a face covering onboard our coaches.

What about face coverings in Wales and Scotland?

The rules in Wales and Scotland have not changed; it is still a legal requirement for face coverings to be worn on public transport.

Drivers will manually advise customers travelling to or from locations in Scotland and Wales that they are required to wear face coverings as per the Government guidance.

What covid procedures will still take place?

Daily fogging of vehicles, anti-bacterial hand gel onboard and drivers will be issued with appropriate PPE.

How do I know that the attractions have implemented COVID-19 safety measures?

COVID-19 safety measures for attractions can be requested by customers prior to travelling. You will also find enclosed within your travel packs the safety measures that are taking place.
