A country house character hotel set in 140-acres of beautiful wooded countryside, it combines a modern, contemporary feel with charm and authenticity. Wander out to the tree-fringed lake with private jetty, perfect for feeding the ducks. Comfortable rooms have a TV and tea/coffee facilities. Leisure facilities include an indoor pool, steam room, sauna, solarium, Jacuzzi and gym. There is also a lift.

Day 1

We make our way to the hotel where we are welcomed with tea/coffee on arrival.


Day 2

Head to Liverpool to explore the city at your leisure. Why not visit the Albert Dock on Liverpool's waterfront? Opened in 1846, it was the first structure in Britain to be built from cast iron, brick and stone. You can also visit the Beatles Story - the world's largest permanent exhibition devoted to the lives and times of the Beatles, the Liverpool ONE shopping complex or take a tour of the city on an open top bus or on the Mersey Ferry.

Day 3

Oswaldtwistle Mills
This morning, we will enjoy a scenic drive to the Oswaldtwistle Mills shopping village and garden centre. This award winning former weaving mill has over 100 retailers under one roof, 5 restaurants, an ice cream parlour, garden centre, mill grounds, craft and sewing centre, Textile and Heritage Museum and even its own wildfowl reserve. We can enjoy a spot of browsing and lunch before making our way back to the hotel.

Day 4

Our journey takes us through the beautiful Lancashire countryside to the market town of Bury. Visit the world famous Bury Market which is best known for the traditional Lancashire black pudding. There is free time to explore before we head back to the hotel to enjoy the facilities.

We say our goodbyes to Chorely and head for home.
