Day 2

Just a short drive from Swansea is the Gower Peninsula, designated as the UK’s first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty back in 1956. We start at the Gower Heritage Centre, where we enjoy a guided tour, followed by time to purchase lunch. We then head out on a guided coach tour where our guide will point out the highlights of Gower from the heights of Cefn Bryn and the historic "Arthur’s Stone" to the breathtaking beauty of Rhossili beach and the nature reserve of Worm’s Head.

Day 3

We visit Carmarthenshire today as we visit the famous and multi-award winning National Botanic Garden of Wales, the most visited garden in Wales and home to a unique collection of over 8,000 different plant varieties in imaginatively themed gardens. A guided tour uncovers the history of the garden and takes in the double walled garden and glass house. Free time after the tour to explore further at your leisure.

Day 4

Enjoy an insight into the history of the home of one of Wale's most renowned poets, Dylan Thomas. Learn about his fascinating past, sit in the tiny bedrooms where he wrote two thirds of his published works and enjoy exploring the house at tour own pace, whilst taking advantage of the knowledgeable guides. This afternoon, we head over to Pant to join the Brecon Mountain Railway, which will take us high into the Brecon Mountains to see stunning views.
