The Beaufort Park Hotel is situated near the market town of Mold and is an ideal base for our tour. You are assured of a warm and friendly welcome and you will soon feel that you never want to leave. The Scandinavian style reception and mezzanine lounge provide an oasis of peace to relax, read or enjoy a drink. All bedrooms are en-suite, and have TV, telephone, hairdryer, trouser press and tea & coffee making facilities.

Day 1

Depart from your home and travel to North Wales where upon arrival we enjoy Tea and Bara Brith.


Day 2

Leaving after breakfast we travel along the coast to Abergele and then head across country to the Conwy Valley, Llanrwst and Betws-y-Coed where we take a break. We then ride over the Crimea Pass to Blaenau Ffestiniog. Here we join the famous Ffestiniog Railway for a spectacular ride over the mountains to Porthmadog. Here we can explore the town and obtain lunch before we make our way through the Snowdonia National Park to Lake Bala. Here we have a ride along the lake shore on the delightful Bala Lake Railway. Tonight, we are entertained by a vocalist

Day 3

Our excursion today takes us to the ancient and historic City of Chester. We have lots of time to explore the city - you can stroll around the city walls, enjoy lunch in a riverside pub, or shop till you drop in the famous 'Rows' of two tiered shops in the pedestrianised centre.

Day 4

Today's excursion takes us through some lovely Welsh scenery, including the spectacular Horseshoe Pass, to the Dee Valley where we join the Rheilfford Llangollen Railway for a journey on a nostalgic steam train and take a ride on the 'Stream in the Sky'- the Llangollen Canal - gliding gently along over the country's biggest navigable viaduct. Tonight, we enjoy the Male Voice Choir.

After breakfast, we leave the hotel and begin our journey home
