Head to the medieval city of Rouen with its magnificent cathedral and large pedestrianised centre. Be sure to take your cameras and visit the city centre where you will find the famous clock, the Gros Horloge. After time for lunch here, we make the short journey to Giverny to visit the beautiful gardens of Claude Monet, where you can admire some of the most iconic scenes in the whole of France.
Please note: Monet's Garden is not suitable for passengers with walking difficulties due to the uneven surfaces and there is no seating.
Chateau de Vendeuvre Tulip Festival
Today we journey to one of the most beautiful castles in Normandy, Chateau de Vendeuvre which hosts the annual tulip festival. Here you will witness a breath-taking, colourful display of over 30,000 flowers including narcissi, grape hyacinths and of course, a copious number of tulips!
We depart after breakfast and make our way into the city of Caen for our afternoon ferry back to Portsmouth.Br
