Day 3

National Botanic Gardens of Wales
After breakfast we make our way to the National Botanic Gardens of Wales. The gardens are both a visitor attraction and a centre for research and conservation and feature the world's largest single-span glasshouse. The idea started in 1978, when a group of local walkers decided they wanted to revive the splendour of what they could see around them. Setting up a fundraising scheme, the little money they raised led to the rediscovery of several historical features. The highlights to look out for include three lakes, a Japanese garden and a Bog garden, along with a Double Walled Garden and the Tropical House. Later return to the hotel for dinner.
