Day 1

After collection from your home we make our way to Folkestone for our Eurotunnel crossing to Calais and on to Bruges where after check-in, you are free to explore this medieval city.

Day 2

Have a full day at leisure to explore this attractive city. The Christmas markets are held on Market Square with traditional stalls selling gifts and speciality foods, and an ice-skating rink for the adventurous.

Day 3

Spend another full day in Bruges exploring the city's canals and maze of atmospheric cobbled streets. Well known for its chocolate shops, see how many of the 49 shops you can spot as you stroll through the centre of the town. For those with a head for heights why not visit the Belfry, a medieval bell tower and one of the city's most prominent symbols (entrance not included). A narrow, steep staircase of 366 steps leads to the top of the 83-metre-high building, which leans about a metre to the east or for those worn out from shopping, see the sights by horse-drawn carriage or canal boat.

Day 4

We depart the hotel and return to Calais for our Eurotunnel crossing to Dover, and return to the local area.
