MEDIA RELEASE 4 September 2009
Major development for Lucketts HQ
The headquarters of Fareham-based coach company Lucketts
Travel is undergoing a major facelift to meet increasing
demands on the expanding business.
The building work at the coach firms base in Broadcut will
provide the company with a new suite of offices and maintenance
facilities for its 70 vehicles.
The 84-year-old family-owned business has had a hugely
successful 2009 which not only saw it scoop a top accolade at
this years Coach Tourism Awards, but also win a multi-million
pound contract with National Express.
Lucketts director Ian Luckett said: This is a really
exciting time for our business and its great to see the first
signs of the new development taking shape.
The business has been steadily expanding so the new offices
will give us some much-needed space and will allow us to
continue growing whilst providing our passengers with the very
best service.
The work, which is being undertaken by SGC Projects Ltd, is
expected to be completed by early next year.
