MEDIA RELEASE 4 August 2009
National recognition for local firm
Fareham-based Lucketts Travel is celebrating after its
subsidiary company Worthing Coaches was recognised as one of
the leading coach providers in the UK by travel industry
experts.
Worthing Coaches, which was bought by Lucketts in 2005, has
been awarded the highly sought-after membership to the Guild of
British Coach Operators which represents over 20 of the top
coach companies in the UK.
Family-owned Lucketts has itself been a member of the guild
for many years, operating across the south from its depot in
Broadcut. The addition of Worthing Coaches to the exclusive
guild highlights both companies meticulous approach to the
highest standards.
The achievement demonstrates how Worthing Coaches meets the
rigorous quality standards set by the guild. The 44-point
criteria required for membership cover all aspects of a coach
companys service including professionalism, safety and
environmental responsibility.
Ian Luckett, director of Lucketts Travel said: Were thrilled
Worthing Coaches has received this recognition, its a great
testament to all the staff and their hard work over the past
few years.
Customers will always want reassurance from their coach
provider that they will receive a quality service and be well
looked after. Now that Worthing Coaches is a member of the
Guild of British Coach Operators we are able to prove our
outstanding dedication to providing the best possible
service.
As Lucketts and Worthing Coaches are both now members of the
guild we will continue to strive to not only maintain these
high standards but to push the benchmark in quality coach
travel further.
