Stratford-Upon-Avon, Lucketts was nominated for a total of six

the lot Coach Operator of the Year.
The second Lucketts award of the night was a special award
for the companys chairman David Luckett who has been at the
helm of the family-owned business for nearly 50 years.
The award, which works on a secret nomination basis,
recognises those who have dedicated their working life to the
coaching industry.
Lucketts director Ian Luckett said: Receiving the esteemed
title of operator of the year from an independent body of
industry experts is the greatest accolade there is and were all
absolutely delighted. The last 12 months have been fantastic
for us and these two awards have topped it off nicely.
Everyone is extremely proud of Dad, he has achieved so much
in his long and successful career and all of the business
triumphs are a result of his hard work. There could not be a
more deserving recipient of this award.
Operating a 71-vehicle fleet, Lucketts is one of the leading
coach companies in the country and the only one in the region
to be recognised by the Guild of British Coach Operators.
Marking the completion of a £3.5m investment, which
came as a result of a multi-million pound contract from
National Express, Lucketts recently moved into brand new,
purpose built offices and engineering facility at its Fareham
hub.
