Located half way between Dublin and Belfast, this family owned hotel is formed around an impressive Victorian House which is steeped in history and located on the Ballymascanlon Estate, which dates back to the 9th century. All en-suite bedrooms are equipped with TV, hairdryer and tea / coffee making facilities. The hotel has a bar, restaurant and its own leisure centre with indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room and outdoor hot tub.

Day 1

An early start as we make our way to Holyhead for the early afternoon ferry to Dublin. We continue on to Dundalk where we enjoy a welcome tea / coffee on arrival.


Day 2

This morning we travel into Dublin where we enjoy a half day guided city tour, takings in the major city sights, such as Trinity College, Ha’ penny Bridge and the fascinating Dublin Castle. We then have some free time to explore further or have lunch before returning to the hotel for afternoon tea.

Day 3

We start with a trip north to Belfast where we visit the Titanic Belfast Experience. Explore the shipyard, walk the decks, travel to the depths of the ocean and uncover the true legend of Titanic in the city where it all began. This afternoon, we are joined by our guide for a tour of this fascinating city, taking in sights such as the Titanic Quarter, Parliament Buildings, Belfast Castle and Cathedral Quarter.

Day 4

Enjoy a leisurely morning at the hotel before our Easter Sunday lunch. Afterwards you may like to enjoy a stroll around the hotel grounds or use the leisure facilities.

An early start as we return to Dublin to catch the early morning ferry back to Holyhead and continue our journey home.
